Welcome to the
Chadderton Learning Centre
The Chadderton Learning Centre (CLC) is a dedicated alternative education provision designed to re-engage, inspire, and unlock the potential in young people through the power of sport, learning, and personal development.

Opening in January 2026 at the brand new £1 million+ redeveloped Chadderton Football Club, we will be combining academic learning, vocational pathways, and wellbeing support, aiming to become a trusted partner for schools, creating a catalyst for positive change in the lives of young people across our community.

We will offer students in KS3 & KS4 a structured, alternative sport-enriched, qualification driven curriculum that blends tailored and accessible academic study, with vocational enrichment, wellbeing, and personal growth.

Our purpose is to help young people build confidence, rediscover their potential, and successfully return to education or transition into positive post-16 pathways with real world preparation a key focus.
Our Mission Statement
To create an environment where sport is the spark and learning is the foundation - meeting the needs of every child, unlocking potential, nurturing character and changing their path towards a positive and purposeful future. A future where they grow into confident, capable contributors to society, not statistics of disengagement, disadvantage, unemployment, or crime.

Our Provision
We deliver a tiered model of intervention and support, designed to provide schools with flexible, high-quality solutions for pupils who require an alternative approach to learning.

Each tier reflects a different level of intensity, duration, and environment ensuring that every learner receives the right level of guidance, structure, and engagement to support their individual journey.

Fundamentally, the childs needs and wellbeing is a priority. However, we are a learning centre, therefore development and progressions is the golden thread that runs through our service offering.

Unless otherwise agreed; all pupils remain on the roll of their referring school, which retains responsibility for attendance and academic progress, while CLC delivers targeted intervention, regular updates, and a structured reintegration plan.
